We are sponsoring an enchanting evening - a dinner concert featuring The Three Amigos. This is a Church sponsored and run fundraiser. Dinner starts at 6:00pm, music throughout the evening, dessert and a door prize too - entry to door prize to those who bring a wrapped bar of soap or a pair of new socks.

The Three Amigos, Brad, Bruce, and Rob have been singing together for more than 20 years! The Amigos have performed from Manhattan to Portland, Maine; in coffee houses as well as on concert/festival stages and at several churches.
In front of audiences large and small, the evenings are always filled with lively music, familiar sing-a-long tunes, and wonderful banter sure to make for an unforgettable night. Acoustic guitars and a complement of percussion instruments provide a foundation for bass, baritone and tenor harmonies that harken back to the 40s/ 50s/ 60s/ and 70s.
Their repertoire is wide ranging, including traditional Christian hymns, soulful a cappela gospel numbers, and non-secular tunes from childhood influences like the Beatles, the Everly Brothers, the Eagles, and Chuck Berry, and great vocal standard tunes by Sinatra, Bobby Darin, and The Mills Brothers to name a few.
Tickets are $15/ea, children 5-12 $6/ea.; Children under 5 free. Seats are limited so call and reserve yours today.
A roast chicken dinner will be served. Please reserve your tickets by Thursday, March 23th, by calling 762-4535 or seeing a church member or stop in for our coffee hour after a 10am Sunday service to purchase a ticket. Proceeds to benefit the mission of St. James.

We have raised over $8,000 toward the parish hall challenge grant!  We would like to wrap up this fundraising effort by the end of February.  If everyone at St. James gave $15-$20 in February, we would be able complete this effort.  Please consider giving, especially since next week’s loose plate offering will be dedicated to the challenge grant.
Bible n' Bagels, our monthly Men’s Breakfast & Bible Study, will meet at 7:30 am on Saturday, April 1st at Coffee & Cream in N. Smithfield. Reading:  John 11: 1-45.
Bishop Knisely will be making an official visitation to St. James on Sunday, May 28th.  One of the things that bishops during parish visitations is perform confirmations, receive people into the communion of the Episcopal church, and pray for those who want to make a formal renewal of their baptismal declaration of faith in Christ.
