We are an Episcopal Church in downtown Woonsocket, right next to the Court St. Bridge on Hamlet Ave. We are focused on worshiping God in a joyful manner, teaching children and adults about Jesus and God, helping each other, and reaching out to the community through our ministries.

Bibles & Bagels, Men's Bible Study will take place on Sat., Oct 1st--Please note the changed location, Our Lady Queen of Martyrs (Msgr. Gadoury School), 1371 Park Ave in Woonsocket, and time (9:00AM) for the fund raiser for Jared Stearns' boy scout troop summer camp. Please see http://www.olqm.us/events.html   Bibles & Bagels meeting will return to the regularly scheduled time and place on November, 5th (first Saturday of the month) at Coffee & Cream in N. Smithfield (next to the Beef Barn) at 7:30am.

Our annual Blessing of the Animals will take place on Sunday, Oct. 2nd this year, during both the 8am and the 10am services.

The first Sunday of the month the loose plate collection will be dedicated toward the $10,000 matching gift for the parish hall renovation. Please be sure to look at the display board and concept books to see our design plans for the parish hall!

Rev. Peter G. Tierney, III is the rector at St. James Episcopal Church, Woonsocket.  

Office hours: Tuesdays 2pm - 5pm, Wednesdays 9am - 12pm, other hours by appointment, Peter will be in the office at other days and times too, but the Tuesday and Wednesday times are static.
