We are an Episcopal Church in downtown Woonsocket, right next to the Court St. Bridge on Hamlet Ave. We are focused on worshiping God in a joyful manner, teaching children and adults about Jesus and God, helping each other, and reaching out to the community through our ministries.

Spaghetti Dinner & Christmas Music Fundraiser with Daryl Sherman

Come enjoy Christmas music with internationally known jazz singer and pianist Daryl Sherman and our own Shirley Ayers, as they perform seasonal favorites, a carol sing-along and the old standards. We will serve a traditional spaghetti and meatball supper with salad. Doors open at 5:45 pm, Dinner at 6:00 pm Tuesday, December 13, 2016. Proceeds to benefit the mission of St. James Episcopal Church. Tickets are $10.00 each, children under 8 are free. Sunday December 4th at 3PM, we welcome The Cumberland Lincoln Community Chorus, under the direction of Dr Judith Lynn Stillman. They will perform their Holiday Concert, "Sapphire Snowflakes". 2016 is CLCC’s 45th year. The repertoire includes a varied selection of sacred and popular music and always adds to this special time of year. There is no charge, there will be a free will offering.

On Tuesday, December 13th, we welcome Daryl Sherman back for our 2nd Christmas Spaghetti dinner and concert.  Tickets are $10, children 8 and under are admitted at no charge.  Doors open at 5:45—please take posters and tickets if you can sell them.

The Coat of Many Colors is in need of the following items, and would appreciate your donations:

The first Sunday of the month the loose plate collection will be dedicated toward the $10,000 matching gift for the parish hall renovation. Please be sure to look at the display board and concept books to see our design plans for the parish hall!

Rev. Peter G. Tierney, III is the rector at St. James Episcopal Church, Woonsocket.  

Office hours: Tuesdays 2pm - 5pm, Wednesdays 9am - 12pm, other hours by appointment, Peter will be in the office at other days and times too, but the Tuesday and Wednesday times are static.
