Order of the Eastern Star Installation—2:00 PM
Ryan and Elizabeth Tremblay will be playing a concert to raise funds for St. James this Tuesday, October 24th at 7pm. The concert will take place in the church and be followed by a dessert reception. Please sign up if you are able to provide desserts. This event is open to the public—please invite friends and spread the word. Tickets will be $10.
Please welcome the Rev. Juliana Anderson, who is covering services today while Peter and Veronica are attending the baptism of their new godchild, Emmanuel Steiner. Juliana is a graduate of Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, MA, the former rector of Christ Church in Hyde Park, MA, and currently resides in Providence.
The Order of the Eastern Star will be holding an open installation of officers for Woonsocket #3 on Sunday, October 29th at 2:00 pm in our Parish Hall. Ronald Ayers will be installed as Worthy Patron, and Brenda MacDonald as Worthy Matron, and members of St. James are cordially invited to attend as they receive this honor and responsibility.
>>There will be a planning meeting for the Christmas Bazaar following the 10:00 am service Sunday, November 5th.
>>We would like to ask your assistance for donations for the various tables at the bazaar. The parishioners are always very supportive of this event with sellable donations; we thank you in advance for your generosity. We gladly accept any items you are willing to donate such as knickknacks, jewelry, kid’s toys/items, holiday décor household items, etc. Please kindly refrain from donating computers, TVs and other similar electronic items or appliances this year.
